Eligibility criteria for students applying for a program under SDS:
  • Admission to a full-time program in a post-secondaryuniversities, colleges, institutes or CEGEP.
  • IELTS score with a minimum band of 6 for each ability (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) taken within past two years.
  • Candidates having 65% marks in 12th can apply for student visa in Canada, according to new SDS rule.
  • Purchase of a special Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) of CAD$10,000 to cover living expenses for the first year of stay in Canada.
  • Proof of payment of the tuition fee for oneyear.
  • Medical examination at least one week before submission of the application.
  • In new SDS rule, online application can be submitted.

Admission in Non SDS General

  • Letter of Acceptance from College
  • IELTS score sheet with at least an overall band of 6.0 for undergraduate courses and an overall band of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 for post graduate programs
  • 12th Grade mark sheet for undergraduate programs
  • Bachelor’s degree or three to four years of Advance Diploma with minimum 50% or above, is required for post graduate courses
  • Proof of work experience, along with pay slips of last 3 months
  • Proof of payment of Tuition Fee
  • Proof of funds to support living expenses – bank savings, investments, education loan etc.
  • Income tax return documents of either the student or sponsor are the acceptable proof of income
